This website is in support of a collaborative volunteer effort by seven individuals concerning the Blue Biochar Initiative (BBI) proposal submitted to the Buckminister Fuller Institute on March 31 2015.

 

The following short clip will help the reader gain a basic overview of the BBI work. Much of the BBI work has been developed within the working draft of "The Intergovernmental Marine Bio-Energy and Carbon Utilization and Sequestration (IMBECUS) Protocol.

 

Aso, this work is closely related to a multifacited effort within the MIT Climate CoLab.
